Found an item on Etsy that uses pressed plastic bags to create mailers. I like that she not only took used plastic bags but actually transformed the properties of the plastic by pressing them to create a new material. I enjoy the idea of taking post consumer and industrial waste and directly upcylcing it as well, but this technique of physical transformation of the material is interesting as well. 
This may seem like I am taking the easy way out since PJ already posted the link for this material (eco-spun by Wellman, Inc. which is a fiber made from recycled plastics)....... but I thought that I could use it to make jewelry. The various colors of the fibers and the weave texture could be really fun and interesting. 
Ecosexy is a low tack 3M and Scotchgard protected paint…it withstands wear and tear and creates a physical shell on wall board, further protects the wall board from blunt destruction. The tack of the paint allows artists, and designers to ‘pin up” papers without putting up cork board, or pushing pins into the wall.
